Hair loss can happen for many different reasons, and often it’s not just one single cause - it’s a combination of internal and external factors.
Some of the most common contributors include:
• Hormonal changes (such as postpartum, menopause, or thyroid imbalances)
• Stress (both emotional and physical stress can disrupt the hair growth cycle)
• Nutritional deficiencies (low iron, protein, or key vitamins)
• Scalp conditions (such as buildup, inflammation, or poor scalp health)
• Genetics (hereditary hair thinning or pattern hair loss)
• Lifestyle factors (diet, sleep, and overall wellness)
• Hair care practices (tight styles, excessive heat, or chemical treatments)
From a holistic perspective, hair loss is often a signal from the body that something may be out of balance.
As an integrative health practitioner and certified trichologist, my role is to help you uncover the root causes of your hair loss, support scalp health, and create a personalized plan for your hair wellness. Through access to functional lab testing, we can gain insights into factors such as hormonal balance, nutrition, and overall health that may be contributing to hair thinning. While I do not prescribe medication, these results allow us to take a targeted, holistic approach and, when appropriate, collaborate with licensed medical professionals for comprehensive care.

Hair growth takes time because it’s deeply connected to your body’s natural cycles. After a hair sheds, the follicle needs about 3–4 months before producing a new strand. Factors like stress, hormones, nutrition, and overall health can also impact this process. That’s why I take a whole-body approach - supporting not just your hair, but the internal factors that influence healthy growth.

What makes us different is how deeply we care. With 13 years in the hair industry, specialized training in trichology, and continued education in integrative health, Helen takes a whole-body approach to hair wellness. She doesn’t just treat hair loss - she listens, she educate, and she supports your overall health so you can feel confident inside and out.

I began my career in the hair extension industry, where I spent over 13 years helping clients feel confident in their hair. Over time, I started noticing more clients experiencing hair loss - especially at the crown, where extensions aren’t always a solution. That shift led me to study trichology, which then evolved into a deeper focus on hair restoration.
As I continued learning, I realized that hair health is closely connected to overall health. This inspired me to further my education and pursue training as an integrative health practitioner so I could better support my clients from the inside out.
After recently losing my mother to cancer, and witnessing both the disease and the impact of hair loss firsthand, my work has taken on an even deeper meaning. I’m passionate about helping my clients not only reach their hair goals, but also feel supported in their overall health and well-being.

Alma TED (TransEpidermal Delivery) is a non-invasive, ultrasound-based system designed to improve hair density and reduce hair shedding. It uses acoustic sound waves and air pressure to deliver a specialized topical hair growth formula into the scalp without pain or needles.
-
The TED+ Hair Care Formula is specially formulated to support hair growth and scalp health through a powerful blend of ingredients including growth factors that activate hair follicles, peptides that encourage thicker hair, and essential nutrients to strengthen strands. It also contains hydrating hyaluronic acid to enhance absorption and soothing plant extracts that provide antioxidant protection and calm the scalp.
-
Anyone experiencing mild to moderate hair thinning or shedding (like early-stage androgenetic alopecia or stress-related hair loss) would benefit. It works best on individuals who still have functioning hair follicles. TED has been shown to treat hair loss conditions such as Androgenic Alopecia, Alopecia Areata, Traction Alopecia, Hair Loss from Chemo, Hair Loss from COVID, Hair Loss from GLP1s, Postpartum Shed, Telogen Effluvium, Trichotillomania, etc.
-
TED is not recommended for individuals with cochlear implants, metal implants in the skull, active cancer or cancer within the past year, scarring types of alopecia, or those who are pregnant or nursing.
-
AlmaTED is non-invasive and completely pain-free. It is safe for most people and has minimal risk of side effects (Tinnitus in some cases). However, a consultation is required to rule out underlying conditions or contraindications.
-
For optimal results, protocols must be followed meticulously. Results vary person to person, but you can expect to see reduced hair shedding 2 weeks after the first treatment and noticeable hair growth 2 weeks after the third treatment. Most noticable results are seen 3-6 months after last treatment.
-
Hair loss is complex and never one-size-fits-all. With hair follicles requiring 3–4 months to produce a new strand, our 4 and 6 month Hair Loss Protocols are intentionally designed to work in alignment with the hair growth cycle - supporting the foundation before new growth begins. Think of it as ‘preconception’ care for your follicles.
-
AlmaTED works by using gentle ultrasound energy along with a special hair growth serum. The ultrasound creates tiny channels in the scalp, allowing the serum to penetrate deeper into the skin where hair follicles live. This helps nourish and stimulate the follicles, encouraging stronger, thicker, and healthier hair growth over time.
The treatment is comfortable, requires no downtime, and is suitable for both men and women experiencing hair thinning.

Pricing can vary depending on your individual needs and goals.
For the best results, we typically recommend a 4 or 6 month hair restoration protocol. These programs are designed to give you full access to all of our in-salon hair growth treatments, while also taking a deeper, more comprehensive approach. We look closely at your hair and overall health history - including lab work - to identify the root cause of your hair loss and address it, not just treat the symptoms.
If you prefer something more flexible, we also offer à la carte options. Individual treatments are $900 per session, or you can purchase a package of 5 treatments for $650 each.
We’re always happy to guide you toward the option that will give you the best results based on your goals. Book a Hair & Scalp Analysis or Hair Loss Consultation to get started and find the best plan for you.
